CRITICAL THINKING & VALUE-BASED DECISION MAKING

Inspire team members to utilize C-Suite thinking by learning how to use financial tools to develop innovative plans, benchmark against the competition and drive results.

In VBM IN ACTION (Value Based Management) participants will have the opportunity to analyze how businesses work – and how to use VBM modelling to optimize business success.

It is an approach to management that aligns a company’s overall aspirations, analytical techniques, management processes and value-based performance metrics to focus management decision-making on the key drivers of value.

THE SIMULATION PROCESS

As entrepreneurs, participants start and run their own box-making businesses for several months in a one-day experience.

Throughout the experience, participants learn 10 theories and how to apply them in their thinking and decision-making process. Then using the business tools and VBM model of thinking, staff are enabled to identify value-creating ideas and solutions for their business.

Your staff will learn to view a business more holistically and not simply functionally. They will learn how to use financial tools (income and cash flow statements) to evaluate their business’ performance, as well as the competitions’.

THE APPLICATION

Employees take the lessons from the Value-Based Management Training and, guided by the facilitator, apply them to their own value-adding roles in the organization. They learn how to view the business holistically and not just from their department or individual vantage point. They learn the language of business.

Armed with this knowledge, employees are empowered to drive bottom-line, meaningful impact for the business – in this employee empowerment training program.
